To prevent matting as we go into winter, especially on curly coats follow these tips..

✔ don't rub dry with a towel, squeeze/pat the coat dry. Rubbing causes friction, friction = matting.

✔ thoroughly brush through, using a slicker brush and a comb to check for knots.

❌ don't try to use the comb to remove knots, it pulls and hurts 😥

✔ conditioning spray will help knots to slide out.

✔ double check common matting areas such as legs, feet, around the collar/harness area and tail area. 💡 struggling to maintain your dog's coat? Ask about a shorter, easier maintenance cut.
