Exciting News: I’m Off to Singapore for Advanced Cat Grooming Training! ✈️🐱

I’ve got some really exciting news to share. Next year, I’ll be heading all the way to Singapore to take part in an International Advanced Cat Grooming Masterclass at PetPat Academy!

This is a 10-day, hands-on course led by some of the world’s top cat grooming educators. It focuses on everything from advanced scissoring and creative styling (think lovely teddy cuts and lion trims) to safe handling and low-stress grooming techniques for nervous cats.

I’ll also be learning about show-standard bathing and coat care for longhaired breeds like Maine Coons and Ragdolls, plus how to refine those finishing touches that make every groom look its absolute best.

Why this matters for your pets

Even though the training is mainly focused on cats, a lot of what I’ll learn will benefit my dog clients too. Skills like coat finishing, precision scissoring and stress-free handling are useful for every animal on my table.

So whether your pet is a Cockapoo, Shih Tzu, Cocker Spaniel, Frenchie or one of my fabulous feline friends, this will all help me offer even better results and a calmer grooming experience.

Bringing new skills home to Grimsby

For me, this isn’t just about learning new techniques. It’s about constantly raising my standards and making sure every pet feels comfortable, safe and cared for.

The more I learn, the more I can tailor each groom to suit the individual pet. From anxious cats to curly doodles, I want every session to be gentle, efficient and as stress-free as possible.
